From a young age, he was exposed to film cameras and took photos of casual landscapes. Early on, he became fascinated with anime, and the expression of stillness and movement greatly influenced his later work. He discovered skateboarding and video cameras as a student and spent his days immersed in them, then moved to Tokyo to pursue a career in the apparel/skateboarding industry. He is currently based in Tokyo as a videographer/director. He specializes in capturing the atmosphere of everyday life, and expresses it classically through photographic images of time passing by, as if he were collecting the scenery he has seen since his childhood and putting his unique perspective and sense of distance into his camera. He loves cats and one of his characteristics is that he can sleep anywhere.
